CORTLAND — The Cortland Police Department is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 25 year old Mary Helms out of the Cortland, New York area.

Mary has been missing since .

She is without her phone. It was found factory reset in her room. Mary was last seen on Friday at 1 pm picking up her check at Frank & Mary’s in Cortland.

She did not show up for her scheduled shift later that night. Mary was supposed to meet family to go to the DMV and she never arrived. She was also supposed to pick up her four children at 5:30pm and did not. 

A missing person’s report has been filed with Cortland Police. She was last seen driving a 2011 black Hyundai Sonata. She’s not posted anything to social media since going missing.

Mary is described as:

• GENDER: Female.
• ETHNICITY: White.
• HAIR: Purple but dyes it regularly.
• EYES: Brown.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 8 inches.
• WEIGHT: Small build.
• OTHER: She has several tattoos.
