ORIGINAL REPORT: YONKERS — The Yonkers Police Department is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 15 year old Mel Harris out of the Yonkers, New York area.
Mel has been missing since Saturday, August 5, 2017.
Mel was last seen on the bike trail off of Saw Mill River Road around 1 p.m., according to the Yonkers Police Department. He was reported missing around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. He may be located around Tuckahoe Road and Saw Mill River Road, police said.
Mel was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray shorts, blue glasses and blue Crocs shoes.
Mel has Autism, so please, if you see him, keep an eye on him while you contact the authorities but do not try to approach him.
Mel is described as:
• GENDER: Male.
• ETHNICITY: Black.
• HAIR: Black.
• EYES: Brown.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 1 inch.
• WEIGHT: 115 pounds.
